What's Included
- Uberti 1851 Navy revolver (Navy Arms Co. Ridgefield, N.J. import)
Built in the classic 1851 Navy pattern, this revolver uses an open-top frame design with a wedge-retained barrel and an under-barrel loading lever/rammer for cap-and-ball operation. It is configured as a full-size, single-action revolver with a 6-round cylinder.
The 7.5in round barrel and fixed sights keep the layout true to the traditional style. The sight setup consists of a brass bead/cone-style front sight at the muzzle and a hammer-notch rear sight.
Materials and finishes are straightforward and period-correct in appearance: a blued/dark-finished barrel and cylinder with a brass-colored brass frame/receiver, paired with a one-piece smooth wood grip. The frame is marked "Cal.44" and the revolver includes the visible Navy Arms import marking.
Markings include "NAVY ARMS CO RIDGEFIELD N.J.-ITALY" along with Italian proof and inspection marks including a star-over-shield proof mark, star over "PN", "PN", and "XXV". Made in Italy by Uberti and imported by Navy Arms Co., this example clearly documents its manufacture and importation.
