The Model 29-10 retains hallmark N-frame construction with carbon-steel frame, cylinder, and a deep blued finish. The 6.5 inch barrel is tapered and includes an underlugged ejector-rod shroud and serrated rib, complemented by a matte-serrated topstrap to reduce glare. A knurled ejector-rod tip provides positive purchase during reloads.
Sight regulation and clarity come from a pinned red-ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear with a white-outline notch. The smooth-face trigger and an exposed, wide checkered spur hammer support double-action/single-action operation. An internal key lock is integrated as a safety feature.
The fluted six-shot cylinder is chambered in .44 Magnum and also accepts .44 Special, offering load flexibility. The combination of the long barrel and iron sights provides a generous sight radius for precise aiming.
As part of the Classics series, this revolver carries period-correct markings, including the large S&W crest on the sideplate and the “MADE IN U.S.A.
