This Hawken is a single-shot .50 caliber percussion sidelock with a 28 inch octagonal steel barrel and a hooked breech that allows straightforward barrel removal. The under-rib carries two brass ramrod pipes, maintaining the authentic Hawken profile and function.
It is outfitted with a Williams tang aperture/peep rear sight paired with a hooded/globe front post. This sight configuration is a practical upgrade that complements the rifle’s traditional sidelock layout.
The rifle features double set triggers and a side hammer, delivering the classic sidelock trigger setup. The 14 inch length of pull supports a comfortable mount, and the half-stock includes a left-side cheekpiece for a steady cheek weld.
Brass furniture includes the trigger guard, nose cap, crescent buttplate, and patch box. The lockplate is scroll-engraved at the factory, adding subtle decorative detail consistent with the model’s traditional styling.
