This High Standard The Victor is a transition-marked example with "THE VICTOR" on the barrel and "VICTOR" on the frame, from the ML-prefix military-grip family. It is chambered in .22 LR and set up in a classic target configuration with a slab-sided barrel, solid (non-vented) top rib, rib-mounted target sights, and an installed under-barrel weight. The pistol also features anatomical wood target grips with an adjustable palm shelf/rest and a gold-tone curved trigger.

This is a blowback-operated, semi-automatic .22 LR pistol built around a target-focused layout. The slab-sided 5.5 inch barrel uses a solid (non-vented) top rib, and the sight system is mounted to the rib for a clean target sight picture.
The target iron sights include a Patridge-style blade front sight that appears screw-retained, paired with an adjustable square-notch rear sight. The configuration is consistent with precision-focused shooting, with adjustments available at the rear sight.
This example includes an installed under-barrel weight, adding forward mass to the pistol. It is also fitted with anatomical wood target grips featuring checkered panels and an adjustable palm shelf/rest.
Controls and features include a manual safety lever and a curved, gold-tone trigger. The pistol is finished in blued steel and is marked as a United States-made firearm, with the right-side barrel address ending in "CONN. U.S.A."
