The USP 9 V1 pairs a DA/SA trigger with an external spurred hammer and a left-side, frame-mounted safety/decocker for familiar and intuitive controls. The paddle-style magazine release supports ambidextrous operation, and the pistol feeds from 15-round magazines for a 15+1 capacity.
Built on a fiber-reinforced polymer frame, the pistol uses HK's recoil-operated system with the USP recoil-reduction assembly to moderate slide and frame forces. The slide wears HK's Hostile Environment nitrocarburized finish, and the dustcover includes USP universal accessory grooves for mounting compatible accessories.
Origin and markings are fully documented: this pistol is German-made with the BD (2013) date code, carries the eagle over N and Ulm antler proof marks with DE markings, and is import-marked HKI – Columbus GA. The slide and barrel share matching serial numbers, aligning with the included factory documentation.
The 4.25 in barrel uses polygonal rifling, and the fixed sight set includes a front blade with white dot and a square-notch rear, yielding a 6.22 in sight radius. The bore condition is excellent with a bright, mirror finish and strong rifling.
