The IWI Carmel CSR16 brings a modern, short-stroke gas piston system to a lightweight, polymer-receiver rifle with fully ambidextrous controls. It features a 16" cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, free-floating barrel with a 1:7 RH twist, a 2-position gas regulator marked R and S, and a full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail with numbered slots. Right-side ejection with a dust cover and case deflector, a reversible non-reciprocating side charging handle, and STANAG/AR-15 magazine compatibility round out a feature set tailored for practical use.

Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Details: The exterior shows a few minor scratches and surface blemishes from prior handling.

The 16" steel barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and free-floating, combining durability with consistent performance. It is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake/compensator, and the barrel is marked 1:7 CHF to match the listed twist rate.
The operating system is a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston with a 2-position regulator labeled R (Regular) and S (Suppressor). Ejection is to the right and supported by a dust cover and case deflector for controlled operation.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, bolt catch/release, and magazine release. The charging handle is side mounted, non-reciprocating, and reversible, allowing setup to suit user preference.
Furniture and interface features include a polymer receiver and frame, an M-LOK handguard with slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, and a full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail with numbered slots. The stock is polymer, folds for storage, and offers adjustable length of pull and comb height. A B5 Systems pistol grip is installed.
Proof and import markings include IWI – ISRAEL and IWI US – Middletown, PA. The rifle accepts standard STANAG/AR-15 magazines, and this example ships with two Thermold 30-round magazines along with a detachable bipod and QD sling swivels.
