What’s Included
- Remington Model 870 Express Magnum 20 Gauge pump-action shotgun
The 28" field barrel is topped with a vent rib and a single bead sight for straightforward alignment. It has a fixed Full choke and a 3" Magnum Chamber, accepting both 2 3/4" and 3" shells. This setup offers a versatile 20-gauge configuration with a Full Choke suited to tighter patterns.
The receiver is steel, milled from a solid billet in the 870 design, and operates on twin action bars for smooth, positive cycling. It uses an internal tubular magazine with a listed 2+1 capacity, right-side ejection port, and a cross-bolt safety. A magazine cap secures the assembly at the front of the magazine tube.
Furniture includes a wood stock and wood forend, both with pressed checkering for grip. The stock is fitted with a Remington rubber buttplate, and the length of pull measures 13.0 inches. The metal wears a matte blued finish that complements the field configuration.
Factory markings include the barrel address "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC., ILION, N.Y., USA," the oval REP proof on the barrel, and barrel code "P WM E." It is a lightweight 20-gauge magnum frame (U suffix) variant. Made in the United States, this Express Magnum stays true to the Model 870's established build features.
