The aluminum alloy M2.0 Metal frame provides a solid, durable foundation and features interchangeable backstraps to set the grip size to S, M, or L. Controls include an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release, with no external manual thumb safety.
The slide wears S&W's Armornite finish and is cut for optics with the cover plate installed. It also features front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. A 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports common weapon lights or accessories. Sights are dovetailed iron sights with a plain front blade and a two-dot rear.
Performance-focused upgrades include the gunsmith-fit Apex Grade 5 inch stainless barrel (barrel hood marked "APEX GRADE"), an upgraded trigger, and an upgraded recoil spring. The package also includes a Wolff recoil spring calibration pack and 5 lb striker springs to fine-tune feel as desired, along with the original factory barrel.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, this full-size, striker-fired, locked-breech pistol uses double-stack magazines for a 17+1 capacity. It carries the factory marking "CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED" on the slide, and ships with two 17-round magazines.
