The Centurion UC-9 follows the proven UZI pattern with closed-bolt, straight-blowback operation and right-side ejection. Its stamped-steel receiver, polymer pistol grip with integral grip safety, and ribbed polymer handguard deliver the familiar ergonomics and handling of this platform.
The 16-inch UZI quick-change barrel is secured by a barrel nut, allowing straightforward removal consistent with the design. A top-mounted, knurled charging knob provides positive control during charging and administrative handling.
Sights are UZI-style irons: a protected front post and a flip dual-aperture rear peep set for 100 m and 200 m. This setup offers fast acquisition with the option to switch apertures for different distances.
The folding, skeletonized steel stock locks into place and provides an 8.5-inch length of pull. Overall length is approximately 31.5 inches, and weight is about 9 lb, giving the carbine a solid, balanced feel.
Controls include a manual safety with selector markings "F" and "S" and an integral grip safety. The carbine accepts standard UZI-pattern double-column steel magazines and includes one 32-round magazine. A left-front sling ring is present for sling attachment.
