    What's Included

    • 1x 10-round magazine
    • Bayonet with scabbard (non-matching)

This FN 49 is an Egyptian Contract variant identifiable by the Egyptian national crest and the receiver legend "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE – HERSTAL BELGIQUE." Belgian proofhouse markings are present on the barrel and receiver ring. The barrel near the muzzle carries the import mark "FN 49 7.92 CAI ST ALB VT."

It operates via a semi-automatic, gas-operated short-stroke piston with a tilting bolt, and includes a user-adjustable gas regulator. The rifle uses a fixed 10-round box magazine designed for stripper-clip loading, and features a knurled, right-side charging handle.

The rifle is set up with iron sights, including a protected front blade and a tangent rear sight. It has an approximately 23.2-inch barrel and a bayonet lug under the muzzle. This example includes a non-matching bayonet and scabbard.

Classic FN wood furniture includes a stock with a finger-groove fore-end and two-piece top handguards, paired with a milled steel receiver. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches. This post-WWII Belgian-made rifle reflects FN's production for Egypt and retains clear, correct markings.
