import mark.
The forged steel frame wears a color case-hardened finish, complemented by a blued steel barrel and cylinder and smooth walnut grip panels. Fixed sights consist of a front blade and a rear notch integral to the frame for a traditional sight picture.
Chambered in .357 Magnum and compatible with .38 Special, it uses a six-shot fluted cylinder and single-action-only operation with an exposed hammer. The retractable firing pin is a New Model safety enhancement designed to add confidence during carry and handling.
A spring-retained quick-release cylinder base pin simplifies cylinder removal, while the right-side ejector housing with a crescent ejector-rod head supports efficient case extraction. Additional markings include a circled 23 inspection stamp alongside the maker and importer legends.
