The 22-inch sporter-profile barrel is carbon steel, tapered, and finished in polished blue, with no iron sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped and currently fitted with two-piece scope bases, providing a ready platform for mounting glass.
The classic BDL stock is gloss-finished American walnut with a Monte Carlo comb, raised right-hand cheekpiece, cut checkering, and a contrasting black fore-end tip with a white-line spacer. A black rubber recoil pad and front/rear QD sling swivel studs are installed. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
The action is the Model 700 bolt system with a jeweled bolt body and round knurled bolt knob. It feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate for a 4+1 capacity. Controls include a two-position safety at the rear/right of the bolt shroud and the factory Walker-pattern trigger.
Manufactured in the United States in 1991, this rifle shows the "RL" barrel date code on the left side at the receiver. The polished/blued carbon-steel receiver and barrel align with the BDL’s premium trim and finish.
