The Franchi Instinct SL is an Italian-made 12 gauge over/under built around a satin silver aluminum alloy receiver with light factory scroll engraving and blued 28-inch barrels. This example combines 3-inch chambers, double triggers, extended Mobil-pattern choke tubes, and a ventilated top rib for a clean, practical field setup. It features a satin walnut stock with a Prince-of-Wales grip and a neutral profile with very slight right-hand cast-off, offering a balanced fit and classic lines.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: There is some wear from prior use. For competitive or high-volume use, the locking lug will need replacement; for hunting use it is considered serviceable. The ejectors are slightly mistimed, and the barrel fit is good.

The action is a break-action over/under with a right-opening top lever and a two-round capacity. It uses double triggers, pairing simple operation with immediate barrel selection. Ejectors are fitted to clear fired shells, and the gun is chambered for 3-inch 12 gauge loads to accommodate a wide range of field ammunition.
The receiver is aluminum alloy with a satin silver finish, scalloped flanks, and light factory scroll engraving. The barrels are blued, and the gun is marked ACCCOKEEK (MD) and MADE IN ITALY. The serial number is located on the top tang.
The 28-inch barrels feature a ventilated top rib and solid side ribs. A red fiber-optic front bead provides a bright focal point. Mobil-pattern extended screw-in choke tubes are included, allowing quick changes to pattern while maintaining a clean muzzle profile.
The stock is satin walnut with cut checkering, a Prince-of-Wales pistol grip, and a slim, tapered forend with a diamond-inlet screw escutcheon. Length of pull is 14.5 inches, and a black rubber recoil pad is fitted. The grip is neutral with very slight right-hand cast-off to aid natural alignment without being heavily biased.
