The Lewis Machine & Tool MARS-LS is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 platform rifle built around a fully ambidextrous lower and a slick-side upper. It features a 16-inch threaded barrel with a multi-port brake, a free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail, and a 30+1 capacity. This example includes an angled foregrip and a USGI-pattern 30-round magazine, with notable markings such as "PATENT PENDING" on the upper and a data-matrix code on the lower.

The MARS-LS lower is fully ambidextrous, providing mirrored controls for the magazine release, bolt catch/release, and safety selector. A flared magazine well supports quick reloads, and the stated capacity is 30+1. The lower bears a data-matrix code for identification.
The slick-side upper deletes the forward assist and includes a brass deflector and dust cover. The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port brake/compensator with a pronged crown. The direct impingement system uses a low-profile gas block under the handguard.
The free-float aluminum handguard offers M-LOK attachment points with a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail and short 6 o'clock rail sections. A polymer angled foregrip is already installed for added front-end control.
Furniture includes a Magpul MOE Carbine 6-position stock and a polymer pistol grip with a beavertail and storage compartment. The rifle wears a matte black finish on aluminum receivers and is made in the USA.
