The 4.25-inch, one-piece stainless barrel combines a full underlug, factory porting, and a recessed crown for controlled recoil and clean muzzle protection. Its ventilated rib uses rectangular slots and a matte top surface to reduce glare while maintaining the Kodiak’s recognizable profile.
The DA/SA action features a smooth, non-stacking trigger. A robust, unfluted six-shot cylinder complements the stainless-steel frame and receiver, all finished in semi-bright stainless for a cohesive look and durable surface.
Sighting is straightforward and precise with a red/orange ramp front sight paired to an adjustable rear. The one-piece Hogue OverMolded rubber grip provides a secure, consistent hold that suits both bench work and field carry.
Rifling is six-groove with a 1:20 left-hand twist, tailored for .44 Rem Magnum performance. Markings include "COLT'S MFG. HARTFORD, CT USA" on the barrel, the Rampant Colt rollmark, and a factory 2D matrix/QR mark on the trigger guard.
