The ZPAP92 uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, built around a 1.5 mm stamped receiver and an RPK-style bulged front trunnion. The nickel-moly bolt carrier and hinged top cover reflect Zastava’s M92 heritage and robust construction.
The 10 inch barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and threaded M26x1.5 LH. A four-prong flash hider is installed. It feeds from standard double-stack 7.62x39 AK magazines and is rated for a 30+1 capacity.
Controls and furniture include a manual safety selector and a black polymer Yugo-pattern pistol grip. Sights are iron: a standard AK front post and an M92 Krink-style top-cover rear sight base with a short Picatinny rail segment. The black finish and Serbian origin are confirmed by the import and manufacturer markings.
This example is configured with accessory mounting options: a Zastava-branded aluminum quad-rail handguard and a 1913 Picatinny rear end-plate. A matching-serial bolt carrier and receiver add a desirable detail for buyers who value factory-aligned components.
Additional details include the hinged top cover design and clear import marks: ZASTAVA ARMS MADE IN SERBIA and ZASTAVA ARMS USA DES PLAINES IL.
