This Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW is a compact, .300 AAC Blackout AR pistol built around a 7-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined CMV barrel with the S2W profile and 5/8x24 threads. It features a free-float MFR XL 6.0 M-LOK handguard, an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, and a Maxim Defense CQB adjustable brace. The pistol-length, direct-impingement gas system and the included Daniel Defense Linear Compensator round out a purpose-built PDW with a uniform tan finish.

The PDW-marked receiver set includes SAFE/SEMI selector positions, an enhanced flared magwell, and a rear QD point. The upper is marked with a 300 cartridge icon, and a DD-marked bolt carrier is visible, confirming factory components.
Its 7-inch CHF CMV barrel is chrome lined, cut with a 1:7 twist, and threaded 5/8x24. A Daniel Defense Linear Compensator (17-4 PH stainless, nitride) is installed. The pistol uses a direct-impingement system with a pistol-length gas setup and a low-profile gas block for reliable cycling in a compact package.
The free-float Daniel Defense MFR XL 6.0 M-LOK handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and mates to a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail. This compact rail package keeps weight down while offering solid mounting surfaces.
A Maxim Defense CQB two-rod adjustable pistol brace with the Maxim enhanced buffer system provides a short overall length while maintaining control. The ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle is factory-spec, and the uniform tan finish extends across the receivers, handguard, brace housing, and buffer tube.
Overall length is approximately 20.75–24.75 inches with a weight of about 5.7 lb, delivering a micro-profile PDW in .300 Blackout with 30+1 capacity.
