The MP-25 uses a fixed-barrel, blowback-operated system with a striker-fired, single-action trigger. The firing pin serves as the ejector, and the slide does not lock open on empty. Barrel length is approximately 2.5 inches.
Construction consists of a die-cast zinc-alloy (zamak) frame and slide paired with a steel barrel and small steel internals. The slide has rear vertical serrations for basic purchase during manipulation.
Sighting is via fixed, integral units: a small front blade and a square-notch rear. Controls include a manual safety and a heel-type magazine catch at the base of the grip.
The exterior is bright plated, complemented by black synthetic grip panels with molded vertical grooves. Markings include "MODEL MP-25 CAL. 25 AUTO. MADE IN U.S.A." on the right side of the slide and "RAVEN ARMS / INDUSTRY, CALIF." with the raven logo on the left, confirming City of Industry, California manufacture.
