This PT 100 P is a short-recoil, DA/SA pistol chambered in .40 S&W with a 5-inch steel barrel and a stated capacity of 16+1. The action is complemented by a spurred, serrated hammer and a frame-mounted ambidextrous safety with integrated decocker.
The two-tone finish pairs a bright polished aluminum alloy frame with a matte slide. The slide uses an open-top design with rear cocking serrations and is marked with the model and caliber. Fixed three-dot sights include a ramped front with a dot and a square-notch rear with two dots.
The P variant adds an integral under-barrel multi-slot accessory rail for lights or other compatible accessories. Ergonomics include scalloped finger grooves on the frontstrap, vertical serrations on the backstrap, and black checkered grip panels with Taurus medallions.
