The M1014 uses Benelli's ARGO dual-piston gas system with a rotating bolt for dependable semiautomatic operation in 12 gauge. The 3-inch chamber and 5+1 capacity offer practical versatility within a compact defensive configuration.
The 18.5-inch steel barrel is paired with a fixed Modified choke, identified by the three-star (***) mark. This configuration provides a simple, rugged setup with no choke changes to manage.
Target acquisition is handled by a protected blade front sight and an LPA ghost-ring rear sight. An integral 1913 Picatinny top rail is machined into the receiver for mounting as needed.
The factory collapsible, telescoping skeletonized stock uses a push-button lock and offers adjustable length of pull with a rubber buttpad. A pistol grip and ribbed two-piece polymer forend provide a secure hold, while the knurled charging handle and red magazine follower add practical, user-focused details.
Built on a matte-finished aluminum alloy receiver, this shotgun was manufactured in Italy and bears Gardone proof marks, the boxed "CS" (2017) date code, and the BENELLI U.S.A. CORP – ACCOKEEK MD import mark. A small factory U.S. flag engraving appears on the right side of the receiver ahead of the bolt release, and the receiver and barrel have matching serials.
