The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 uses a two-piece, fiber-reinforced polymer receiver with a full-length top Picatinny rail. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a paddle-style magazine release, and a bolt catch/release lever ahead of the trigger guard. The charging handle is non-reciprocating and can be swapped to either side.
Its 7.72-inch steel barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded. The muzzle is 18x1 RH, with 1/2x28 threads accessible under the installed flash hider, and a pronged muzzle device is currently fitted.
The installed Midwest Industries M-LOK handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum, providing modern mounting slots along with the included skeletonized hand stop/angled foregrip. A Magpul MOE-EVO pistol grip is installed for a secure, familiar interface.
A Strike Industries rear adapter with folding hinge mates to the SB Tactical pistol stabilizing brace, enabling a compact profile when folded while maintaining stability when deployed. CZ low-profile metal front and rear sights are installed and ready for use.
Capacity is 35+1, and this example includes nine CZ polymer magazines: seven 35-rounders and two 20-rounders. Origin and markings include CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import marks, Made in Czech Republic, and CIP proof marks with a 21 date code. Matching serials were observed on the receiver and bolt.
