The MCX Virtus Patrol uses a short-stroke gas piston system with an internal recoil assembly, delivering the MCX architecture in a semi-automatic format chambered for .300 AAC Blackout. The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a three-prong flash hider.
The rifle’s folding, telescoping buttstock mounts to a rear 1913 interface and provides a length of pull of 10.75 inches. Controls include a manual safety and an ambidextrous charging handle. The upper is slick-sided without a forward assist and includes an ejection-port dust cover and brass deflector.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard runs the length of the rifle and integrates a continuous Picatinny top rail for mounting day/night optics or accessories as desired. QD sling cups are positioned in both the handguard and the buttstock. UTG flip-up front and rear sights are installed.
Capacity is 30+1 with the included Magpul PMAG Gen M3 windowed magazine. Receivers and handguard wear a gray finish with black furniture. Factory markings include a “VIRTUS” plaque and “SIG MCX MULTI-CALIBER” on the receiver set. Made in the USA.
