The Government-size system uses a standard barrel bushing and short GI guide rod, staying true to the original 1911A1 pattern. The slide has rear vertical serrations only, paired with small GI fixed sights consisting of a blade front and a square-notch rear.
Forged steel frame and slide construction deliver classic durability, finished in a matte dark gray/black tone. A1-specific details include frame relief cuts, an arched mainspring housing, a smooth front strap, and an un-beveled magwell. The recoil spring plug is checkered.
The controls and fire-control group follow the GI template: single-action only operation with a short, solid trigger; a spur hammer; and both a thumb safety and grip safety. The magazine release is the standard 1911 pattern.
Markings include the barrel stamp "ZIG M1911 TURKIYE" and the import mark "Tisas Knoxville, TN." Stated capacity is 8+1, and this example includes both an 8-round and a 7-round steel magazine to support immediate range use.
Made in Turkey, this Service model is a reproduction that emphasizes 1911A1 authenticity, from Series 70 style internals to its GI-style sighting setup and period-correct external features.
