The 26 inch chrome-moly steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with 5R rifling and a heavy contour measuring approximately 0.875 inch at the muzzle. It is threaded 3/4x24 and fitted with Ruger’s factory two-chamber side-port muzzle brake to manage .338 Lapua recoil while preserving the rifle’s accuracy potential.
The action uses a pre-hardened chrome-moly steel upper/receiver and a three-lug bolt with a 70° throw. The bolt body features a durable DLC coating for smooth cycling. Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable trigger provides a crisp, user-adjustable pull, and the ambidextrous safety is easy to access from either side.
Its in-line recoil path chassis design promotes shot-to-shot consistency. The folding stock offers length-of-pull adjustment, cheekpiece height adjustment, and buttpad height adjustment, complemented by a Ruger-branded AR-pattern pistol grip. An 18 inch free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides ample mounting real estate while keeping the barrel unobstructed.
A factory-installed 30 MOA one-piece Picatinny scope base offers additional elevation for long-range optics.
