Belgian manufacture and correct factory markings define this Mk2. The slide is marked FN HERSTAL BELGIUM, the frame carries the FNH USA Fredericksburg, VA import mark, and the barrel shows Belgian proof-house stamps along with a Liège date code. The serial number plate is located on the right dustcover/rail area.
The 4.8-inch stainless steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined with a 1:9 RH twist, tailored for the 5.7x28mm cartridge. This configuration supports durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent performance.
Its operating system is single-action with an internal hammer and delayed blowback. Controls include a frame-mounted ambidextrous manual safety and a reversible magazine release. The slide features front and rear serrations and an external extractor for positive handling and reliable extraction.
Sights are a 3-dot setup with a fixed front blade (white dot) and an adjustable rear with windage and elevation screws. An integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover provides mounting space for compatible accessories.
