Made in Germany and marked with CIP N and DE proofs, this VP9SK carries a BI date code indicating 2018 production, along with the HKI-Columbus GA importer mark. The slide wears HK's Hostile Environment finish, and the frame is the gray polymer variant.
The 3.39 in cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling. The pistol is striker-fired with a trigger safety that uses a pivoting blade. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including slide releases on both sides and HK's paddle-style magazine release. The slide has front and rear cocking serrations and HK charging supports at the rear. An abbreviated MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover.
Factory Tru-Dot 3-dot night sights are installed, with a sight radius of 5.73 in. The slide has no optic cut.
