The Glock 42 is a micro-size, single-stack .380 ACP with a polymer frame and matte black slide. This USA-made example bears 'USA' and 'GLOCK MADE IN USA' markings. The slide has rear serrations only and no accessory rail, maintaining a slim, streamlined profile with a left-side magazine release and Glock's Safe Action system.
Its 3.25-inch steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, paired with a dual recoil spring assembly. This setup is characteristic of the model and supports the compact design without adding unnecessary bulk.
Upgraded Trijicon HD XR night sights are installed. The set features an orange-outline tritium front blade and a U-notch rear with two tritium lamps for a bright, fast front sight reference and a precise rear notch, especially useful in varied lighting.
Capacity is 6+1 with standard magazines and 8+1 with the included extended magazine. An installed Hogue rubber grip sleeve adds a secure hold to this slim-profile pistol.
