The HK91 A2 configuration pairs a fixed stock with slim, ventilated wood handguards and a steel buttplate, delivering the classic G3-line profile. Chambered in .308 Win with a 20+1 capacity, it retains the original military-style controls and layout that defined the platform.
This example is a true pre-ban rifle, imported prior to 1989 and marked with early SACO Arlington, VA import stamps. The receiver is marked "Made in Germany" with a 1976 date stamp, aligning it with sought-after West German production.
It uses HK's roller-delayed blowback system with a fluted chamber for reliable extraction. The stamped sheet steel receiver includes claw-mount engagement lugs, and the left-side folding charging handle provides the familiar HK manual of arms. A two-position safety selector is fitted.
The 17.7 in barrel is threaded and fitted with a slotted G3-pattern flash suppressor. Sights are the correct HK set: a hooded front post and a rotary diopter drum rear. Length of pull measures 14.5 in, and the stock includes a side sling-well inlet.
