The 92FS features a full-size aluminum-alloy frame and a black open-top slide. This example reflects the classic, non-railed 92FS configuration with a 4.9 inch steel barrel and a 15+1 capacity.
Controls are double-action/single-action with an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker and a firing pin block. The magazine release is reversible and checkered, and the pistol uses a spurred hammer. A lanyard loop is located at the heel of the grip.
Sights are fixed 3-dot, with an integral front blade and a dovetailed rear. The locked-breech system uses Beretta's falling locking block design, paired with the open-top slide architecture.
