The Micro configuration centers on a 4.2 inch threaded barrel (1/2x28) with the removable factory flash can nested inside the handguard. The upper provides a full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail, and the micro-length handguard features M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for direct accessory mounting.
Controls are thoroughly ambidextrous, including the thumb safety, bolt catch, and AR-style magazine release. A flared magazine well speeds reloads. The left-side charging handle is reversible to suit user preference. The operating system is semiautomatic, straight blowback.
Sight regulation is handled by aluminum CZ folding adjustable front and rear sights. The fiber-reinforced polymer receiver and frame keep weight down while maintaining durability. Scorpion 3+ magazines are backward compatible with EVO 3 platforms.
This example is factory-marked "CZ SCORPION 3 PLUS" with the caliber "9x19" on the bolt and the importer rollmark "CZ-USA, KANSAS CITY, KS." Country of origin is the Czech Republic, with Kansas City import markings as noted.
