The Model 1100 uses a gas-operated semi-automatic action with right-side ejection. Its steel receiver is finished in blue and displays factory scroll engraving on both the receiver and the bolt, adding a classic factory-applied detail.
The installed barrel is an aftermarket Hastings smoothbore made in France, measuring 24 inches with a ventilated rib and a brass bead front sight. It is threaded for an interchangeable choke tube system; no choke tube was installed in the photos. The original barrel is not included.
The shotgun is configured for 12 gauge with a 2-3/4 inch chamber and a 4+1 capacity. A knurled magazine cap sits at the forend tip for easy removal and maintenance.
Furniture consists of a full-size, gloss-finished wood stock with a pistol grip, pressed checkering, a white-line spacer, and a flared grip cap. It is completed by a Remington hard buttplate and a 14.0 inch length of pull for a traditional fit and feel.
