The Sapphire Special Edition treatment defines this Micro with its polished bright blue PVD slide, precise cut scroll engraving, and matching blue PVD-finished small parts. The contrast against the Satin Silver aluminum alloy frame creates a distinctive two-tone presentation straight from the factory.
Its 2.75 in stainless steel bull barrel is bushingless, ramped for reliable feeding, and finished with a recessed crown. A full-length guide rod and factory 8-lb recoil spring support smooth cycling in the compact format.
Controls and ergonomics follow the micro-1911 pattern with single-action-only operation, a manual thumb safety, and a 1911-style magazine release. The undercut trigger guard, ball-milled front strap, and grooved mainspring housing aid control. Thin blue/black ball-milled G-10 grips keep the profile slim and secure in hand.
Factory sights are fixed, low-profile 3-dot tritium night sights. The pistol accepts both 6- and 7-round single-stack magazines, with a 6-round Kimber magazine included. At 5.6 in long, 4.0 in high, 1.08 in wide, and 13.4 oz, it balances concealability and handling. The frame is marked "KIMBER, YONKERS, NY USA," and it is made in the USA.
