The PC Carbine’s takedown system uses a rotating locking collar for fast separation of barrel/forend from the receiver/stock, making transport and storage straightforward. The 16.12-inch steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged for durability, fluted to trim weight, and threaded 1/2-28 with a thread protector.
Controls are practical and adaptable. The charging handle is mounted on the right side and is reversible, and the magazine release is also reversible. The rifle accepts interchangeable magazine wells for Ruger SR-series/Security-9 and Glock-pattern magazines. Capacity is 24+1 with the extended magazines included.
Sight and mounting options are well covered. It ships with a protected blade front sight and an adjustable ghost-ring aperture rear sight. A receiver-top Picatinny rail supports optic mounting, and a short accessory rail on the fore-end is ready for lights or other accessories.
Construction is robust and user-focused. The aluminum alloy receiver has a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The black glass-filled nylon stock includes molded texturing, sling swivel studs, and a rubber buttpad. Length of pull is adjustable via spacers and is set to 13 inches on this example. The blowback action uses a tungsten dead-blow bolt system to reduce travel and muzzle rise.
