The XR920 Elite uses Shadow Systems' crossover layout, pairing a compact-length slide with a full-size grip. The textured polymer frame includes an extended beavertail and an undercut trigger guard for a controlled, high-hand purchase, plus an accessory rail for mounting lights or other rail-mounted equipment.
The slide is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and features front, rear, and top serrations with weight-reducing window cuts. A factory multi-footprint direct-mount optic cut is integrated and ships with a cover plate installed, giving you a robust mounting interface when you choose to add a red dot.
The 4.5 in barrel is cut from 416R stainless steel, spiral fluted, and threaded, and it includes a knurled thread protector. This setup supports suppressed or compensator use when desired while keeping weight forward balanced.
Sighting is fast with a Night Fision green dot front and a black serrated rear notch. The striker-fired action uses a flat-faced aluminum trigger shoe with a trigger safety. It accepts Glock-pattern double-stack 9mm magazines; standard capacity is 17+1, and the included extended magazines provide higher on-board capacity. Unloaded weight is approximately 22.4 oz.
