Designed around the 1911 platform, this full-size Colt Conversion Unit uses a blowback action and includes the floating-chamber recoil-assist system, identified here by a separate cylindrical component included with the small parts. This configuration is consistent with the earlier floating-chamber style rather than a later Ace II-type system.
The slide assembly is Government Model-profile and features rear cocking serrations along with a top ejection port/open window on the top of the slide. Iron sights are installed, with a fixed blade-style front sight and a rear sight present that appears adjustable (type not confirmed).
