The barrel is marked with the Remington Ilion, N.Y. address and "BROWNING’S PATENTS" dates: OCTOBER 9, 1900; DEC. 17, 1901; SEPT. 30, 1902; and JUNE 16, 1903.
This example wears smooth (non-checkered) wooden furniture with a wooden forend, and it has a length of pull listed at 14.0. The barrel is a 28 inch plain barrel with no vent rib visible.
Notable aftermarket additions include a Poly-Choke adjustable choke installed on the barrel (marked "Single Turn") and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. The front bead is mounted at/near the Poly-Choke assembly.
