The right-side folding wire stock with rubber buttpad provides a compact profile and a 13.0" length of pull.
It retains the AMD dual-grip layout with a wooden pistol grip and wooden forward vertical grip. Furniture includes a slotted polymer lower handguard and a ribbed metal gas tube cover. Iron sights consist of an AMD-65 pattern front post and a tangent rear sight graduated 1–10.
Chambered in 7.62x39, the rifle operates via a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt and two locking lugs. Stated capacity is 20+1. The configuration emphasizes control and reliability consistent with the AMD-65 pattern.
