    What's Included

    • Smith & Wesson Model 25-2 'Model of 1955' Target revolver
    • Pachmayr black rubber target-style grips (installed)

The Model 25-2 is chambered in .45 ACP and was designed to be used with moon clips; it is also compatible with .45 Auto Rim without clips. No moon clips are provided with this revolver. The six-shot fluted cylinder uses a knurled ejector-rod tip for positive extraction.

Its 6-inch heavy, ribbed target barrel incorporates an ejector-rod shroud and a pinned barrel fit. The adjustable target sighting system pairs a ramped front blade with a micrometer-click adjustable rear, giving the shooter fine control over elevation and windage.

Fire-control features include a wide, smooth target trigger and a wide, color case-hardened hammer with a checkered spur. The double-action/single-action mechanism provides flexibility for deliberate target work or traditional DA operation.

The revolver is built on a carbon-steel N-frame with a high-polish blued finish. Factory markings are clear, including the S&W crest on the frame, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel, "45 CAL. MODEL 1955" on the right side of the barrel, "MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.," and "MOD. 25-2" in the yoke cut.
