The factory 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged stainless barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and finished with a recessed crown. An O-ring-retained thread cap protects the threads, and the 1:10 RH twist supports a wide range of 9mm loads.
Sight alignment is fast and clear through suppressor-height Trijicon tritium night sights, featuring a green tritium single-dot front and two-dot square-notch rear. The sight radius measures 5.79 inches for steady, repeatable indexing.
The slide is optics cut with the cover plate installed and works with FN’s Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System; adapter plates are included. It also features front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and a loaded chamber viewport.
The Flat Dark Earth polymer frame provides aggressive texturing and interchangeable backstraps for fit adjustment. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide stop and magazine release, and a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail supports compatible lights or accessories.
