The BCA15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system with a rear charging handle and a manual safety marked "SAFE" and "FIRE." It accepts detachable AR-15/STANAG pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity.
The 16" barrel has a 1:8 twist and is threaded at the muzzle, capped with an A2-style birdcage flash suppressor and crush washer. This setup provides standard compatibility with common AR-15 muzzle devices.
The upper receiver is a flat-top design with a Picatinny rail, forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection port cover. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard features M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions with segmented top rail sections.
