This series is identified by its CB-prefix serial range and factory markings, including "COWBOY COMMEMORATIVE" on the barrel and "MODEL 1894 WINCHESTER" on the tang. It was manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut, and marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL."
Receiver surfaces carry factory roll engraving with "Brave Land" and "Bold Men" scenes plus lariat and rope-and-spurs motifs. A cowboy medallion is inlaid in the walnut buttstock, complementing the commemorative theme.
