The SLR-107FR uses a stamped 1 mm receiver with magwell dimples and a ribbed top cover, true to AKM-pattern construction. It is marked with the Arsenal logo and country/import information, reflecting its Bulgarian manufacture and U.S. importation.
The 16.25 in barrel is cold hammer forged, hard chrome-lined, and threaded 24x1.5 mm RH at the front sight base. It is fitted with an AK-74–style two-chamber brake retained by a detent. The rifle uses a separate 90-degree gas block and front sight base.
Operation is via a gas-operated, long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt. Arsenal's factory two-stage anti-slap fire control group provides a clean trigger pull consistent with the model's design intent.
Furniture is black polymer, including ribbed handguards, a side-folding stock with trapdoor, and a standard AK-pattern pistol grip. A rear sling loop is positioned on the left side. Sights consist of a protected front post and a rear tangent leaf graduated to 800 m.
The receiver includes a factory side optic rail for mounting compatible optics. Overall length is approximately 36 7/8 in when extended and 27 3/8 in when folded. Weight is about 7.3 lb. Capacity is 30+1 with standard magazines.
