The REX Zero 1S Standard is a hammer-fired DA/SA, short-recoil pistol with an external spurred hammer, manual safety, and a dual-function slide stop/decocker. This system allows both cocked-and-locked and traditional DA/SA carry, giving the user flexible operating options.
Construction emphasizes durability: the frame is 7075-T6 aluminum with a black hard-anodized finish and full-length rails; the slide is nitrocarburized steel in black; and the one-piece barrel is cold hammer-forged steel. The 4.25-inch barrel length strikes a practical balance for a full-size sidearm.
Sighting is straightforward with fixed steel dovetail sights: a front blade with a single white dot and a rear square-notch. The pistol includes a Picatinny accessory rail with four slots for mounting compatible accessories. Controls include a checkered magazine release, and the grip panels are black textured polymer.
