The 942M pairs a 3-inch steel-alloy barrel with a full underlug for balanced handling. Iron sights include a serrated, pinned ramp front blade and a drift-adjustable rear notch for straightforward alignment. The barrel uses a 1:16.5" right-hand twist suitable for .22 WMR.
This DA/SA revolver features an exposed hammer with a checkered spur and a smooth-faced trigger. A transfer bar provides the listed safety mechanism. The eight-shot cylinder is chambered in .22 WMR to maximize capacity within the small-frame format.
Construction is steel alloy throughout the frame, cylinder, and receiver, all finished in matte black. A one-piece textured rubber boot grip with finger grooves provides a secure hold and shares grip compatibility with the Taurus 856 series.
