Built in the USA and marked "McMillan Bros" and "PHOENIX, AZ USA" on the receiver, this TAC-50 delivers the brand’s renowned ELR performance. The barrel is stamped "50 cal. BMG," underscoring its purpose-built design for .50 BMG precision work.
The 29 inch heavy-profile barrel features longitudinal flutes for rigidity and thermal management, and it is threaded with a rectangular multi-port muzzle brake. The brake shows additional "2094" and "2002" stamps. The right-hand bolt uses a spiral-fluted bolt body and a large round knob for confident manipulation under load.
The fixed fiberglass/composite tactical stock is finished in woodland camouflage and integrates a beavertail forend, a thick recoil pad, and a bipod interface. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, providing a stable, repeatable position behind the rifle.
The rifle feeds from a detachable steel box magazine, offering a 5+1 capacity for extended strings at distance.
Historically associated with anti-materiel and extreme long-range roles, the TAC-50 platform has earned its reputation through verified record-setting engagements and continued adoption for .50-cal precision tasks.
