This Winchester Model 94AE Carbine pairs the classic 20-inch .30-30 configuration with the Angle Eject system and a receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Weaver 1-inch see-through scope rings are installed, preserving access to the factory iron sights. Made in New Haven, Connecticut, it features a blued finish, straight-grip hardwood stock, and a full-length tubular magazine with 6+1 capacity.

The 94AE (Angle Eject) design uses right-side ejection to accommodate conventional receiver-top scope mounting. The receiver top is drilled and tapped, and the installed Weaver see-through rings allow continued use of the iron sights.
This carbine configuration features a 20-inch round barrel with two barrel bands and a full-length tubular magazine for a 6+1 capacity. The metal wears a traditional blued finish, and the barrel is steel.
Sights include a ramped front post and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with elevator. A tang-mounted manual safety incorporates a red fire indicator.
The straight-grip hardwood stock and smooth carbine fore-end are uncheckered, capped by a black buttplate with the Winchester oval logo. Sling-swivel provisions include a rear stud in the buttstock and a front eyelet at the barrel band. Length of pull is 13.25 inches.
Barrel roll marks read: "WINCHESTER MODEL 94AE CAL. 30-30 WIN. — MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. — WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL." Additional marking: "WINCHESTER — TRADEMARKS LICENSED FROM OLIN CORP."
