Built on the NoDak Spud NDS-1 stamped receiver, this rifle follows classic AKM architecture with magazine-well dimples and a ribbed top cover. The receiver is marked "MOD: NDS-1" and "CAL: 7.62x39" with NoDak Spud LLC, Edina MN USA.
The Romanian parts kit centers on a Cugir front trunnion with the triangle-with-arrow arsenal mark and a stamped 1978 date. A single "G" mark is present on the rear sight block, indicating the PM md. 63 'G' pattern.
The 16.3 in threaded barrel is fitted with a slant compensator. A front sight base with detent plunger, a post front sight, and a tangent rear sight graduated from 100 to 1000 meters provide the classic sight picture. A cleaning rod is installed.
Furniture includes a fixed wood stock with rear sling swivel, checkered wood pistol grip, and wood handguards. Length of pull is 12.0. The rifle wears a matte dark finish consistent with the receiver.
