This 1970s Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight combines factory waterfowl engraving with the platform's bottom-loading, bottom-eject design. It features a 20-inch plain barrel with a fixed cylinder bore and a 2 3/4 in chamber, plus an under-barrel tube magazine with 4+1 capacity. This example is in the interchangeability era and is fitted with aftermarket synthetic furniture.

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: Expect significant markings and finish loss from previous handling and use. The bore is bright and clean. The front bead is broken off. The safety does not function correctly. Please refer to the pictures for additional details.

The steel receiver is marked PROOF TESTED and uses the Model 37's hallmark bottom-loading, bottom-eject system. It is a post-1975 configuration with a disconnector (non-slam-fire) fire control group.
The 20-inch plain barrel has a fixed cylinder bore and a 2 3/4 in chamber. It uses a single barrel/magazine band and a knurled takedown cap. The sighting setup is front bead only; see Condition regarding the broken bead.
This shotgun is customized with a Pachmayr-branded synthetic forend and a synthetic pistol-grip-only rear stock. The furniture has molded checkering for a secure grasp.
Factory engraving features a Featherlight-pattern waterfowl marsh scene on the receiver. The tubular magazine offers a stated 4+1 capacity. This example falls within the interchangeability era that allows barrel swaps.
