    What’s Included

    • Brass powder flask (large cylindrical)
    • Brass powder measure
    • Brass pan primer

This pistol reproduces the French Charleville Model 1777 cavalry pattern, manufactured in Italy and imported by Navy Arms. It features the script "Charleville" marking on the lock and carries Italian proof marks, a "MADE IN ITALY" stamp, the Navy Arms Ridgefield, N.J. import mark, and "BLACK POWDER ONLY" marking.

The build centers on a bright round 7-inch steel barrel in .69 caliber, paired with a traditional flintlock ignition and an external cock. No fixed sights are present, as consistent with many cavalry pistols of the era. The finish is bright steel throughout.

The furniture is brass, including a substantial rounded pommel and a broad trigger guard. A right-side steel belt hook provides period-correct carry capability. A steel trumpet-head ramrod is fitted beneath the barrel.

The one-piece hardwood stock has a pronounced, bulbous grip that complements the pistol’s cavalry form. This example remains in solid functional condition with a clean, shiny bore and comes with useful brass accessories for black powder loading and priming.
