The BBR 3.10 is built on Rock Island Armory's M1911 A2 subcompact platform with a double-stack magazine, providing 10+1 rounds of .45 ACP in a micro-size format. The 3.10 in barrel is ported, and the slide carries three round ports near the muzzle, along with rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. The carbon-steel slide and frame wear a durable black Parkerized finish.
Sights are straightforward and precise: a dovetailed serrated front post with a white dot and a fully adjustable rear sight with two white dots. Controls include a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad. The trigger is lightened and slotted, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a standard, checkered magazine release.
